TagSnag ("we", "us") operates tagsnag.com. The site has no user accounts and keeps data collection to the minimum it needs to work — this page describes everything we collect and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Email address and alert preferences — only if you use the "Track" button to ask for deal alerts or the newsletter. We use them solely to send you what you asked for.
• Anonymous outbound clicks — when you open a deal link we log which deal was clicked, the time, and the site the click came from (hostname only). This powers the "N grabbed" popularity numbers. Click logs are not tied to your name, email, or any identifier.

That's the full list. We don't run ads or analytics, we set no cookies, and we don't use tracking pixels. We never sell personal information. TagSnag is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Where it's stored and who sees it

• Data is stored with Supabase (our database provider).
• If you subscribe to alerts, your email is shared with our email delivery service solely to send you the messages you asked for. It processes data under its own privacy terms.
• Affiliate partners never receive your personal data from us. When you click an outbound deal link, the merchant's site may set its own cookies so the company can credit TagSnag for the referral (see our affiliate disclosure) — from that point the destination site's privacy policy applies.

Your choices and rights

• Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
• Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK under GDPR, or California under CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To make any request — including full deletion of your email and preferences — write to hello@tagsnag.comand we'll handle it.

Data retention

We keep your email for as long as you're subscribed and delete it on request. Click logs are anonymous and kept only to compute deal popularity.

Changes

If our data practices change (for example, adding analytics), we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
